Tips for saving money with ink cartridges

Printer cartridges refills, especially the one direct from the manufacturers is extremely expensive. If your business has got huge printing needs, you must be bearing a lot of expenses in getting printer ink. Here are some tips to help cut down your printing expense in particular and ultimately your overall operational expense.

Look out for remanufactured cartridges

Remanufactured ink cartridges are basically used ink cartridges. The damaged and used components are taken apart and fixed and are filled with new ink. Remanufactured cartridges cost way less than the brand new cartridges and promise almost the same level of printing quality. You just have to ensure that you buy these ink cartridges from a reputable supplier.

Buy compatible printer cartridges

If you want to have high quality ink cartridges but do not want to pay exorbitant price for them, you may buy compatible printer cartridges. Compatible printer cartridges are manufactured keeping in mind the specifications given by the Original Equipment Manufacturer. You can easily find compatible ink cartridges for most top printer brands like Epson, Brother, Cannon, Dell, HP, and others in the market.

Make Bulk purchases

If you need to print papers, receipts, documents, reports etc quite often, it is better to buy ink cartridges in bulk. Bulk buying would save you a lot of money. Most suppliers and manufacturers of ink cartridges offer discounts on bulk purchases.

There are other advantages of bulk buying. By planning well in advance how many ink cartridges you would require and making bulk purchases accordingly, you can always have ink cartridges at disposal. It would help you stay organised and would ensure that your work flows smoothly. Buying individual replacement each time you need them can result in waste of time, as well as money.

  1. Thank you, my wife is always looking for ways to be cheap. Printer ink has always been an issue because I keep telling to not print off coupons because that is wasting ink. But now we will save some money hahaha thanks.
